Marcey + Joseph | Palm Springs, CA

Marcey and Joseph’s wedding took place in Palm Springs, CA at the Koraikia Pensione hotel.  The venue had a very rustic look and felt very mediterranean like.

The first thing Marcey did when we saw her was give us a very nice card and a gift for our baby girl who is due Sept 2nd.  We opened it up and there were the cutest swaddle blankets I’ve ever seen.  She assured us they were the best 😉  We are so fortunate to work with such amazing people.  Here is a little snap shot of what she gave us 🙂

Marcey’s dress was very simple, yet so elegant.  Sometimes the simplest things end up being the most stunning and this was definitely one of those cases.  It was the Bride that made the dress, not the dress that made the Bride.

When we met up with Joseph he was perfectly chill and remained that way until it came time for the first look, always a favorite.  He was so nervous to see her, but we always love watching those nerves melt away when they get to talk to one another.

Now we have come to the star of the show, an adorable gooldendoodle named Mason who was very handsomely dressed and getting all the attention a dog could ask for the entire day.  What a cutie!  Mason was their ring bearer and even though him coming down the isle didn’t go the way Marcey had imagined, it didn’t matter, he was so stinking cute!

A new one for us, and we always love firsts, Marcey walked down the isle by herself, but was greeted by her handsome Groom halfway down the isle.  It was very heartwarming to see.

Oh yes and we just HAVE to mention all of the DIY (Do it yourself) things Marcey put together.  She made just about everything at the wedding from the signs throughout the ceremony and reception to the little box lanterns that were about the size of your hand and held a candle inside.  If you are not impressed yet, she even made the placards on the tables AND the backdrop to the photobooth.  The backdrop was pretty incredible.

Something else we had never seen, at the reception the tables were set up family style.  Instead of having round tables that seat 8-12 they had 4 long tables where everyone sat together.  Such a neat idea don’t you think?!?  We do 🙂

The reception was very laid back and full of toasts.  They didn’t do first dances, cake cutting or garter/bouquet toss.  They  did toasts, some dancing and lots of goofing off in the photobooth.  It was very different and very fun.  Everyone was there to celebrate the happy couple… and that they did!

Marcey and Joseph, you guys are so sweet and it was such a pleasure getting to film your special day for you.  Thank you SOOOO much for the baby gift, we will always think of you guys when we wrap her up in one and seriously thank you for being amazing!  Wishing you many years of happiness.

**Please note that the photo’s you see posted on this blog post are not the professional photo’s taken by the professional photographer Max Wanger at the wedding. Get excited for some stellar photos on there way 😉  These are just a few “stills” from the footage we were able to capture to help tell the story through our eyes…  So, here are some photos we took along the way!**
