Megan + Tyler | West Chester, Ohio

Traveling to our destination, West Chester, Ohio, was not the most amazing travel experience we have ever had, but the Bride, Groom, Bridal Party and Bridal Party Family made our trip all worth while.

The morning started with getting ready shots with the gorgeous bride, Megan, and her bridesmaids.  Everyone excited and nervous for the day this couple has been waiting for, for years.  Megan wanted to give Tyler a special gift before the wedding.  So she made him a quilt that has some sentimental meaning!

We met the girls at the reception site, we were all going to meet there and then head to a location where Megan wanted to take some pre-ceremony pictures with her girls. They all insisted that we jump into this huge stretch limo they had rented for the day. It was pretty neat getting to take some shots in there while driving around. After pictures were done we all headed to the church for the ceremony.

People started gathering and it came closer and closer to the time the wedding was suppose to take place. Everyone was set and ready to go. It was a traditional ceremony with some pretty neat modifications. Instead of doing a unity candle, they built a cross to represent their unity. This is something they will display in their home. Megan’s father has a spanish/Latina background so she read a verse as part of her vows to Tyler in spanish.

After the ceremony we piled back into the stretch limo. We were completely blown away when Megan and Tyler presented us with a gift. Megan had made a sign for us with our logo on it. We were pretty stoked about it! They had wanted to pick us up at the airport, and they planned to be standing at the pick up area with the sign. Even though they did not get to play out their well thought out plan, we were so stoked they were so thoughtful.

After taking a few more pictures, some in front of a corn field might I add how rad that is! We all headed into the reception site. Our favorite part of the reception was the father daughter dance. Megan and her father started out with a slow dance and broke out into a mix of different dances. It was pretty amazing if I might say so myself!

We can honestly say the amount of hospitality that was bestowed upon us during our stay in Ohio was simply the best we have ever been treated. Everyone is always nice to us, but nothing like how we were treated in Ohio. Everyone there was so thoughtful, so nice, cared about others, and we truly felt the selflessness of the people there. It was very humbling and appreciated beyond what words can say.

Megan and Tyler, thank you both for being so thoughtful, for the excitement you shared with us, the humility you showed us and for choosing us to share your special day with. May God bless your many years to come.
