Morgan is our biggest fan and has followed us from the very beginning. We were beyond thrilled when she and Tom got engaged, not just because they are our friends and we were super happy for them, but because they said they “had to have us” film there wedding. What an honor and sincere compliment!
May 12th, just so happened to be a gorgeous day at Chaparral Pines in Payson Arizona. We were a little worried it was going to be a little hot, but the wind blew just enough to allow a subtle breeze. Morgan was having her make up done in the locker room, she told us she was nervous, but honestly it did not show. She looked absolutely stunning! While she and her girls chit chatted for a little while we headed over to see what the boys were up to . . .
What were they doing? What else would guys be doing on the day of a wedding? Duh, they were playing poker 🙂 It looked like a lot of fun! Tom, just like Morgan said he was nervous, but to us he looked very quiescent. He and his groomsmen were just laughing and having a good time.
I simply love the way that the ceremony site was decorated. The back drop looked hand made and I’m pretty sure that it was. They had wooden doors with windows that framed the area, very beautiful.
The ceremony approached and it was time for the bridal party to take their places. Everyone was set, ready to go. As soon as Morgan walked out you could see how happy Tom was to see his beautiful bride. This is one of my favorite moments at weddings, the look on the groom’s face. The moment Tom saw Morgan, you could just see in his face that every drop of sweat, stress, and tears leading up to this very moment was all worth it. You could literally see the tranquility on both their faces the moment they saw one another.
After the ceremony the guests headed inside for the reception. While Tom and Morgan were away on the golf course having their picture taken the guests were told to head out front to be a part of the surprise that Tom had waiting for Morgan . . . When they returned all of their guests were hiding Morgan’s Grandmothers old, but beautiful, blue Chevy pick up truck. Morgan opened her eyes and saw the truck she never thought she would see again. Tom had tracked it down for her, it had been lost for years and Morgan had given up on ever finding it again. Needless to say she was shocked and completely filled with joy! . . . Now time to party! Everyone enjoyed themselves to the fullest at the reception, enjoying yummy food, a nice beverage, dancing and some good laughs with old friends.
To the new Mr. and Mrs. Borkowski, thank you guys for believing in us, loving us the way you do and for being our biggest fans! We loved getting to be a part of your day and wish you all the happiness for the many, many years to come.
